Took a weekend trip with friends. First the casino is very nice. We noticed the brightness and none smoking smell when we walked in. We ate in the Smokey part was told it has good food. The food was good. The machines are not as great as tunica but that’s another story. I couldn’t win nothing. Lol We saw music was in different parts we were there Saturday night. We went to the front stage but was not feeling the music then we walked around saw a female and male. We were so lit the drinks were great. Cowboy Joy the lady said was his name and her name was Melanie. We sat and watched they played music more of the vibe. We sang every song it was jazz 90s R&B their voices was like heaven sent and I gave them folks all my money. They needed that on the front stage. I wanted to dance it was black folks in audience not catching a vibe and I was not feeling the music I guess country probably rock. On a Saturday night we need the vibes for real. Black folks ain’t trying to listen to no rock and roll. We tryna turn up. So after we vibed at the hotel lobby show we sat at the bar and kept drinking. Me and my girls didn’t win anything but we had a ball. The hotels were clean and nice. The food was great and the staff were friendly throughout the night. I like they had music all around tho so you can find a spot that works for you. I definitely recommend this casino but if you looking for a hit on them machines then I wouldn’t recommend. I know I a lot and lost it all. We will be back whenever we are back in town. Thanks Southland. It was a great time Saturday night 8/8/26 was a night to remember in West Memphis.

I visited The kitchen all you can eat crab legs buffet. The kitchen is usually a hit and miss with their Sunday buffet. Today was a hit, and the crab legs was fresh and delicious. The catfish was hot fresh and delicious. I only tried the crab legs and fish and both was really good. We also had a very good server Ms. Marisa was very attentive to our table and made sure our water and drinks was refilled often. She was attentive to the other tables in her section. She kept a smile and seemed very happy and it showed through her service. I will come back just to sit in her section. She definitely set the bar high. If you ever visit the kitchen on Sunday, ask for Marisa and Pleaae tip your server!

I don’t gamble much I still like trying on occasion. Came in to just try to have fun. I’m a little shy. I didn’t stay long. However, top tier games. I feel if I would’ve stayed longer I might have won but couldn’t risk it. Appreciate the kind guy upfront!

Going here is very convenient and it is less travel for me than traveling all the way to Tunica. I enjoy the atmosphere, the food and etc. The hotel is very comfortable. I recommend going here if you are really looking for a fun time and a good meal.

SHOUT OUT TO CHUTNEY I visited Southland Casino for a getaway before the Memorial Day crowd. Her energy and vibe were unmatched. I can tell that she really takes pride in her work, but even more importantly, she is so attentive to your own personal needs and concerns. It is such an awesome feeling when someone takes the time out of their busy schedule to really cater to you and make you feel special. Her interaction with me as a guest was spot on!!! I really appreciate her kindness and professionalism. It made my experience ten times better; what an awesome job!!!

If you ever visit the Southland Hotel, you would be honored to have Shannon on the sixth floor as your housekeeping specialist? I don’t know if this is her regular floor or not but she is very kind, very polite, and very caring. I’m telling you if you ever have the pleasure to encounter her hospitality, she would make you feel “some kind of special”. She is the very epitome of hospitality and her service is beyond five stars; It is off the chart! Very nice casino! The hotel is very nice with clean rooms! The food was delicious. The steakhouse was closed so I didn’t get to eat there, but I’ve heard it’s fantastic. The bars had a descent selection of draft beers. They had a variety of top shelf liquors. The casino is large and very nice. The main gambling floor is smoke free. Even the smoking room wasn’t overly Smokey. The sports bar is inside the smoking area, but again the smoke wasn’t bad at all. They must have some great ventilation in there! Overall, very nice place. Not all that expensive either. I will be back!

At first glance it looks a little iffy. Looks can be deceiving! Do not let that deter you from staying. From a last minute booking for 2 less than.$ 150 & breakfast included, not continental, I give it a ten! The service was 10 out of 10, from the gift shop, to bar staff, and always underrated waitstaff, everyone was fantastic. Broke even in the casino, live band was fun, and the smoking area is a completely different casino area which was fantastic for me because I have breathing issues. The food was delish, although I wish I would have gotten more coleslaw with my fish.. The room was immaculate, and beautiful, no complaints there, even passed a black light test, iykyk. The bad... I've never been into a casino that had a gun sniffing dog at the door, so it caught me off guard. Also appreciative of the measures taken to keep me.and mine safe.

Everything was almost great. I found the rewards card is a joke . I checked in at the desk To get my card. I applied on line in January. My trip was February. Does not say anything about You have to sign up when you visit. So we didn't get any buffet. I also checked my rewards card It showed I had $100.00 dollar game Play on slots ..never got it to credit putting the card in slot machine there was 0 nothing. Other than that it was a good trip PS........... Update on the rewards card. Jennifer made everything right on the card for my next visit Thank you Jennifer for the time and help

Had a quick over night stay in town. It was cheaper to stay here versus other hotels. Check in was super easy, very nice and helpful front desk staff. Room was super clean and spacious. Visited a place inside the casino called Fry House to grab food and it was 10/10. Also decided to put some money in the machine and won. So no complaints about the casino itself. Paid me well. Also liked there was a place outside of the casino to order food and coffee with the on the go grab items available. If ever come back to Memphis would stay here again.
