Embassy Suites Northwest Arkansas receives mixed reviews, highlighting comfortable rooms and good service in some instances, but frequently citing cleanliness issues, pool problems, and maintenance concerns. Recent stays have been marred by problems ranging from dirty rooms and malfunctioning amenities to disruptive guests and inconsistent service.
We had a great stay at Embassy Suites! Our room was very clean and spacious, with a separate bedroom and living room area, which made it feel much more comfortable. The bathroom was also spotless and included a nice bathtub. We enjoyed ordering dinner from the bar and relaxing with a complimentary glass of wine during the evening social hour. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options to choose from. One thing we were disappointed by was the indoor pool. It appeared very green, and since we specifically chose this hotel because it has one of the larger indoor pools in the area, we decided not to swim. Parking was complimentary, which we really appreciated. Although the hotel is located near a shopping center, there is a dedicated parking area for hotel guests, making it convenient and easy. L
While we enjoyed the fantastic breakfast, prime location, and pet-friendly policy, our stay was unfortunately disappointing. The Pros: Excellent location and complimentary breakfast. Most staff members were friendly and helpful. Pet-friendly accommodations. The Cons: Room Condition: We didn't receive our reserved room and it was given away. The AC wouldn't cool below 71 degrees, and the bathroom tub was stained and scratched. Comfort: The fold-out couch mattress was extremely uncomfortable. Logistics: We experienced long waits for elevators and could never find a luggage cart. Atmosphere: The pool was very small, and the hotel was overwhelmed by loud, unsupervised children during a convention. Overall, the property needs significant maintenance and better management during busy events. Definitely expected more after paying $1,100 for a two night stay.
I was appalled by the audacity of this hotel. We booked two double bed rooms, and when we arrived at the hotel we were formally disappointed by the idiocy of this situation. They said they had the right to change our rooms to two king size rooms. We have two children with us who were FORCED to share the bed. The pool was green, I could not even see my own toes through the water. There was hair EVERYWHERE. We were trying to play and have a relaxing time with friends, but we were disgusted by the dirty, nasty water. It smelled bad. When we woke up on the second day of our stay, all six keys mysteriously STOPPED working. They said it a coincidence, but there is NO way ALL keys stopped working at the same time. We were here for the daisy national bb competition, and it was DIRTY. The ac in the entire hotel is not working. My room refuses to go under 69 degrees. It is TOO hot for the ac to not be working. The people at the reception desk were rude and unwilling to help. However there was a very sweet cleaning lady who joked with me and my friend. That's why the service is a 2 and not a 1. The location is ideal because we were participating in the bb national comp. Have a great day and do better .
The breakfast service was very good. But having said that: Day 1: We were given the wrong key and room assignment. Had to make a couple of trips to the front desk to get it right. Day 2: The faucet in the bathroom leaked. An "engineer" (not a maintenance technician) was sent to fix it. After water was spayed everywhere, a new valve was installed. A right-hand valve was installed in the left-hand position, but the leak was stopped with a valve that turned backward. Day 3: Discovered very, very old dog poop in the corner of our room. Obviously, the room had not been well cleaned for a very long time. We were moved to an up-graded room which was a good gesture on the hotel's part. Day 6: At midnight, the fire alarm went off. We followed the instructions and went down the stairs to the ground floor to be told that the alarm had been going off frequently and that no emergency was happening. It went off again twice more that night. During the week that we stayed, our room (neither one) was never cleaned. We did receive fresh towels each day, but had to ask for the coffee service to be replenished. We never heard a vacuum cleaner running anywhere during the week. We knew when it was raining due to the leaks in the lobby. The wet areas were roped off and towels were on the floor to absorb the water. Our experience was, at most, mixed. Probably would not stay there again.
A gorgeous timeless lobby. Classic atrium that never goes out of style. Rooms were tidy updated enough ...I never expect super modern rooms anyway. Friendly enough lady at check in. However this is where the bad comes in. So we were not informed at check in the pool was closed for the evening. We clearly had a toddler with us. Either way it is their job to inform guests at check that the pool in unavailable that's just customer service 101. I realize nobody is perfect. But when we came down in our swim suits and saw the sign. I went to the desk to asked the lady why she didnt inform us. She explained that it just happened a few hours ago. We had checked in 30 minutes ago that is ample to let us know. But i understand everybody makes mistakes. We were able to swim before check out today. However there was trash in the pool. Not a lot just a few little pieces. I really wouldn't care about it that much if this were a comfort inn but you expect a little bit better from an embassy. Also there was a hanging light fixture in our room. Picture attached. Rooms were tidy and lovely. Bartender during reception was friendly and gave me a free beer even though it was a little after 7. So shout out to him. I did not see any snacks though. The member service lady by the elevators was so sweet. So mixed bag.
I have stayed in Embassy Suites for years. This hotel by far does not live up to the brand. Mattress, couch and chair needed to be replaced long age. Bath vanity and shower faucets leak. Room backed up a music venue rendering the room uninhabitable until 11pm. Pretty outdated
Husband (veteran) & I had booked a room 05/16/26 for a romantic evening & morning away from craziness of the office thinking we could relax in the pool, enjoy dinner & breakfast the next morning. So disappointing due to baseball kids allowed to run screaming around the floors, to which I finally yelled to stip the rough housing near the landings before someone got hurt. The pool had young & older kids allowed to body-surf in the pool room while parents looked on. Because my husband has tinnitus, it set his ringing off which gives him a horrible headache & he gets physically ill. This could have been prevented by management enforcement of their sound rules laying on the check-in desk. Breakfast was tolerable buy coffee tasted burnt. Our thermostat wasn't working either & it was either cold or very warm in our room. Employees were very kind buy I suspect they didn't want to say anything to some of the snobby people allowing this disrespectful behavior. I even watched adults & kids cutting thru lines or between individuals with full lack of courtesy. I wouldn't recommend this place to any Service member or anyone having any disability.
Found it strange there was only 2 pictures of the pool posted anywhere, booking, Google, ect.. but no reviews about it. So here is my review. The main pool picture IS NOT THE POOL AT THIS LOCATION. The pool is much smaller. And THERE IS NO HOT TUB. They filled it in. Also, their sauna is out of order. Breakfast was amazing. Room was nice, beds were horrible though. Stayed two nights and as a 35 yr female my body is STIFF. Staff was very nice and helpful.
We had over 250 guests stay and enjoy themselves for an entire week. It was an unforgettable and sales kick off event. The food, the service, the rooms, and the meeting space are world class. We all loved our stay and had an amazing time. Every employee was a delight to have at our service. For example, Christopher at the front desk treated everyone like a VIP with cold waters, help with snacks and late night drinks. There wasn’t a second of the day or night we didn’t get treated like royalty. Even my daughter’s lovey got treated like a princess. What a treat ?
Unprofessional. Smells of an high school locker room! Front desk staff Missing front teeth. Security!! Blue hair and not one Not two but three nose rings. Rooms are sub par Beds are well just a bed. Showers well….. they have water. And left over hair. Toilet has marks in it that look like what was a plumbing snake. They let people be loud and crazy. And don’t complain about!!!! You will be made the bad person! Unprofessional staff! Got accused of stealing wine. While showing new guest where the self service fridge is Fridge isn’t restocked! I had to show that I paid for the wine on my Amex app. Not where you should stay if you are paying for a luxury hotel. They are not the only hotel in town !!! Many others close by that will treat you with respect. Just because they have a convention center doesn’t mean you have to stay there!!! Walmart vendors you have much better options for much less.
