We will have a full video of this hotel on our YouTube channel (Walkers Wild Adventures) soon! With that being said, this hotel is ABSOLUTELY amazing. From the valet to checking in. The staff they have employed there are absolutely amazing. They are informative, funny, fun. It’s not the awkward “here’s my keys” they aren’t asleep at the desk at night. I was greeted and spoke to by every staff member any time I was coming or going, which brings me to my second plus! LOCATION! Where else can you walk into a restaurant on one side and go shopping on the other? It’s directly on central where you can take a short walk to shop or get a massage. The rooms were immaculate, clean, fresh and no noise from the street ever seemed to be heard in the room. I can’t leave a good enough review for this place. I honestly will stay here anytime I’m in hot springs! BIG FAN!!
We stayed for a quick one day trip/pass through the area. I had researched and thought this would be the perfect location, which it was! Staying here makes everything walkable. I wasn't aware of the valet, so we parked in the parking garage and walked down. Wasn't a big deal. The building is historic, which I love! The old wood floors and windows were charming! I wasn't impressed the rooftop view everyone brags about. The corner room was fine until someone came in next door at midnight. Opening and shutting the door was incredibly loud. I could hear their bathroom sliding door. Then back out in the hall then all the steps. I know the building is old, that's one reason I chose to stay, but they do not have the right walls for a hotel. Especially a Hilton. Also--maybe it's just me--but I had an eerie feeling every time I got off the elevator to the 5th floor. I won't stay there again because of that.
The hotel was amazing and we both thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was huge and very well appointed. The shower was phenomenal and my wife would have been happy to spend our entire stay in it. Hot Springs is such a gorgeous, layed back place and the hotel is situated right in the center of all the chilled out atmosphere Hot Springs is famous for. Our stay was made all the better by the staff who are helpful and friendly. We would like to make special mention of Ezra, our valet, who was especially helpful and ran about in the heat to get our car with a cheery smile on his face. He was friendly, gave fantastic local advice, and more than anything, genuine. This is a rare trait in a tipping environment - being genuinely nice and helpful without coming across as fake and forced. Thank you, Ezra.
Let me just start by saying the service and location can’t be beat. The valets and front desk folks absolutely made our stay above and beyond great. The aesthetic of the lobby and all the preservation of history made my heart happy… That being said, there are certain prices to be paid for maintaining historical integrity… we stayed in two rooms since our trip was split with a points redemption and a cash night. First night, standard king room (506). Quiet. Clean. Lovely. Nice little view out the window… maybe some noise of steps out the hall but not more than any other hotel…very happy! Second night we were upgraded to a deluxe room (505). The only real difference between these two rooms is a few square feet bigger, a bit more of a view of bathhouse row, and NOISE. So much noise. Steps from above, cars from the street, some sort of buzzing machine going off every ten seconds… honestly I should have known walking in and seeing ear buds waiting for us on the bed stands. Still, a beautiful room, in a beautiful hotel- if you are a heavy sleeper (my husband didn’t mind but I’m a light sleeper!)- or have a good noise machine (maybe the hotel could supply one? Wouldn’t mind seeing a couple extra amenities too for the upgraded room but it all looked the same)…take the deluxe, but if not, probably take a room away from the street. Still, I would absolutely return again and give this hotel overall 5 stars!
Staff was all super friendly and helpful including front desk and valet. The back had almost hidden balcony areas which were super cool. My overall stay was really clean and comfortable, and I'd reccomend it if whoever doesn't mind it being an older building. They have a dedicated valet parking lane so guests don't have to worry about parking. The only downside to that is trying to maneuver around when the streets are busier, but it isn't too bad. It was beautiful inside and out.
My husband and I stayed at The Waters Hotel for a quick weekend getaway, and it was a great choice. The location is perfect since it is right across from Bathhouse Row, so we were able to walk everywhere for shopping, dinner, and the baths. The hotel has been recently renovated, and the modern rooms felt fresh and updated. We also grabbed breakfast at the restaurant downstairs, which was tasty and priced exactly how you would expect for a hotel. The staff was super friendly. We did notice a bit of street noise since our room faced the road. The hotel provides earplugs and a sweet note about getting good rest, but if you are a light sleeper, you might want to ask for a room on the back side of the building. My only tiny gripe was some mold in the shower grout, which is pretty common at hotels, but a deep clean would have been nice. Overall, it was a lovely stay and a solid home base for a fun weekend.
I enjoyed my stay at The Waters. We were on the front of the building, so my husband found it loud and hard to sleep, due to sirens, but it did not bother me. They did provide earplugs. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The location is great, especially if you are coming into town and do not want to leave the national park area. On the occasion that I stayed, in the winter, they had some heating issues, but graciously provided extra blankets, and a space heater. I would stay here again.
We enjoyed a lovely stay at The Water’s Hotel in Hot Springs. Located in the middle of Bathhouse row we found many things to do and visit. Hotel staff were very helpful during our stay. If driving - one can Valet or find local parking. We choose valet for the ease. We didn’t take in the exercise room as there are many hikes in the park and street area to explore.
This place was great! Super cute and convenient and just what I was looking for! Our very first impression of our stay was James in valet who immediately gave us 10/10 customer service. That alone would make me want to come back! The atmosphere, location and rooms are awesome!
We stayed at The Waters Hot Springs, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, in January to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary, and it was a wonderful experience overall. The hotel is charming, well-maintained, and ideally located on Bath Row, making restaurants, shops, and attractions easily walkable. The room was comfortable, although street noise from loud vehicles was noticeable at times, which appears to be a local traffic issue rather than a hotel concern. Nearby activities were excellent, and guests should reserve bathhouse experiences well in advance, as reservations may be required up to 3 weeks in advance, and availability is limited. The Hot Springs Mountain Tower offered fantastic views, the food along Bath Row was outstanding, and the trip was memorable and relaxing. The valet service (PMC) was excellent, too. They do a great job - tip them well. We would gladly return.
