The Capital Hotel is consistently praised for its historic charm, elegant atmosphere, and exceptional service. Guests highlight its convenient location, comfortable accommodations, and outstanding dining experiences, particularly at One Eleven. The hotel’s well-maintained architecture and locally-owned operation contribute to a memorable stay.
This hotel checks all the boxes. Location. Charm. Great service. Impeccably clean. Interesting architecture. And I understand that it is locally owned so it stands to reason why it is so well maintained. Also, very reasonably priced for its class.
Wonderful hotel with beautiful architecture and so much character. Location is very convenient with access to all tourist attractions. Front desk was very friendly and helped us with everything. Rooms very clean and contained everything we needed. I highly recommend this place.
We spent our honeymoon here and just stayed for our 25th anniversary. This is a classic hotel with full services to take care of you. The bar and grill is fantastic so you don't have to leave the hotel unless you want to. This is Little Rock's historic classy hotel. We love it and recommend it for our guests.
Staying at Capital Hotel is like stepping back in time. Beautifully preserved yet updated, the decor seamlessly blends original elements with modern comfort and convenience. Made especially for this hotel, the mattresses support with medium firmness and a soft cushion. The high ceilings, stained glass windows, and pillared halls lend an air of opulence, while the pricing is competitive. Service is excellent and timely but with an unhurried feeling that sets a person at ease. I highly recommend staying for breakfast. The braised pork with rice grits, microgreens, and egg was one of the best meals I have ever had. Locally roasted coffee is served with a small pitcher of half-and-half on the side. My husband's sausage patties were freshly made on site, nothing frozen. Our waitress, Roz, was knowledgeable and relaxed with prompt and pleasant service, and our every request immediately fulfilled. We had a small hardware issue in the room, which may have been partly user error, and a repairman was there within a few minutes. The staff here are wonderful. I would return to Little Rock just to stay at this hotel. It is a vacation in itself.
This historic hotel is gorgeous and so comfortable. Every detail is elegant and seems so thoughtfully done. The staff are top notch! The bed is so comfortable. 10/10 and highly recommend.
We’ve had the pleasure of experiencing One Eleven at the Capital Hotel in Little Rock on more than one occasion, and each visit has been nothing short of exceptional. Our Valentine’s dinner was unforgettable—romantic, elegant, and beautifully curated from start to finish. The atmosphere alone sets the tone, but it’s the attention to detail that truly makes it special. On a separate visit, we enjoyed their five-course dining experience, and it was absolutely outstanding. Each course felt like a carefully crafted work of art—perfectly balanced flavors, stunning presentation, and a level of creativity that made every bite memorable. It’s clear the kitchen operates with both precision and passion. We also had the opportunity to attend a preview performance of Giselle by the Arkansas Ballet at the Capital Hotel, which added another layer to how special this venue is. The ability to host such a beautiful and intimate cultural experience speaks volumes about the atmosphere and versatility of the space. Service during every visit has been impeccable—attentive, polished, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling overbearing. One Eleven isn’t just a place to eat—it’s a place to experience something memorable. Whether for a romantic evening or a special event, it consistently delivers at the highest level.
Fantastic check-in experience at Capital Hotel during marathon weekend. Matt at the front desk was phenomenal—welcoming, professional, and incredibly helpful. He shared interesting history about the hotel’s 150-year legacy, accommodated my early check-in after a morning flight, and clearly explained dining and room service options for race day. The room was excellent, and the service truly stood out. I would absolutely stay here again when returning to Little Rock. Thank you, Matt!!
I can’t say enough wonderful things about Angela at The Capital Hotel! From the moment we arrived, she made us feel so welcome and cared for. Her attention to detail, kindness, and professionalism made our stay absolutely unforgettable. She went above and beyond in every way — truly the heart of The Capital Hotel! Thank you, Angela, for making our experience so special. We’ll definitely be back because of you! Thank you for a wonderful Anniversary Candy and Michael Hensley
