This is a gem! Just a beautiful property with incredible architecture and the very highest of finishes. I found myself touching way too many walls and edges of items - it is immaculately built and they spared no expens. The food! We had an appetizer and a couple of craft beers at Eddy’s on the second floor mezzanine and all of it was just top notch. We dined at Sestina and again - food is just incredible all around. We sat at the bar and Kyle was so great. He concocted a chocolate dessert cocktail for me after dinner and he was incredibly knowledgeable and super friendly. The staff was the biggest highlight. Maggie and the team at the front desk were so welcoming and there’s a great sense of pride in working at the Compton that we could feel. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. It was a quick overnight visit but we can’t wait to come back.

The Compton in Bentonville Arkansas was fantastic. We got food from the cafe and everything was delicious. My daughter loved the meatball sandwich. The warm chocolate chip cookie was yummy. The hotel staff is very attentive and respectful. The rooms are very spacious and you feel very relaxed. We used the cycle concierge for a day of mountain biking. They had the evokes out and ready for us first thing in the morning. All in all would definitely stay at The Compton again.

I am a self-proclaimed hotel snob. The Compton did NOT disappoint. The rooms were clean and spacious. The bathrooms were superb! I LOVE having a make-up shelf in the bathroom, so that along with a private water closet added to the special touches of our room. All staff members were warm and friendly. To top it all off, we had an incredible experience at the Sestina (in house) restaurant. We splurged on the Wagyu steak and marshmallow chocolate mousse. Divine! We will be back!!!

I really enjoyed my stay at The Compton, and I look forward to visiting again. It's beautiful, luxurious, thoughtful, and calm. The design throughout the hotel, from lobby to room, is absolutely wonderful. Turndown service was unexpected and came with sweet, local little momentos. The staff was wonderful throughout, and Eric at the front desk made me feel so welcome and special at every encounter. The restaurant on-site was great, with creative menu options. The proximity to the square was ideal, so walkable. There was a free parking garage very close by. Without a doubt, I'll be back for another peaceful getaway.

This is a great hotel! Could only stay for one night but absolutely plan to come back and stay longer. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and so thoughtfully designed. They really did think of everything at this hotel. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and kind. Lots of spaces to sit inside or out. Appreciated that we could have our dog with us. The location is perfect for walking to restaurants and shops, with a park adjacent to the hotel and a walking/biking path just steps away. Breakfast at Field Notes was delicious and had great gluten free options. Thank you for a lovely stay!

My husband and I did a quick long weekend trip over Memorial Day weekend and stayed at the Compton. It was one of the most unexpectedly positive trips we have ever been on and the Compton played a huge role! The hotel itself is beautiful. It smelled AMAZING. At first we thought it was an artificial scent they were pumping through the lobby (which we were okay with and tried to ask the front desk to buy a candle), but it turned out the smell came from burning hickory chips or something to cook meat at the restaurant upstairs. The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was amazing. I know this review sounds like it came from someone who has never stayed at a decent hotel before haha, but I really have and this hotel is exceptional!!!!

We were in Town for our son's proposal in Bentonville and had such a wonderful stay at your hotel. It truly was an experience in itself. The Staff couldn't have been more helpful and rooms were absolutely beautiful. We especially enjoyed the bar ~ everything about the hotel was just stunning. I've already highly recommended it to several friend's traveling to Bentonville, and we'll definitely be staying with you again next time we're in town.

We had a short but amazing stay at The Compton the night of our wedding. All of the staff were super friendly and welcoming. They even had champagne and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us in our room, along with a card congratulating us that was signed by the staff. The room was beautiful and there were so many nice touches throughout the hotel. Highly recommend. We’ll be back.

My stay at the Compton was truly amazing. My business trip was delayed by a week due to winter weather, and the staff was gracious enough to let me push my stay back. The hotel lobby is eclectic and thoughtfully curated. The door is opened for you upon every entrance and exit. I honestly felt like I was arriving home to my luxurious manor every time I returned for the day. That's how dedicated the staff are to greeting you and making you feel welcomed. My room and bathroom were gorgeous and pristine. I never saw a housekeeper, but they are hard at work behind the scenes. My room was prepared for sleep every night with the blackout blind closed, bed turned down, lights dimmed, and a carafe of water left. Every night you also receive an Ozark folklore trinket left on your bed which was my favorite touch. I received a red string, local wildflower seeds, and a local river rock. If I am ever staying in the area again, I will definitely rebook.

We’re so glad we made the decision to stay at The Compton during our trip to Bentonville! The location is unbeatable—You literally can’t get any closer to the Bentonville square without sleeping on the sidewalk. The hotel is walkable to all the best of Bentonville. The whole place is absolutely gorgeous inside and out. Every detail seems intentional-feeling both comfortable and inviting while also sophisticated and modern. I found myself just wanting to sit in the lobby and front patio area to just look around because everything is so aesthetic-taking random pictures of decorations I’ll never use ? Our room was also bright and airy with tons of natural light from the large windows, super comfortable premium bedding, beautiful wood throughout, large bathroom, cool views overlooking the surrounding Bentonville area. Everything just feels so thoughtfully put together—the room was really quiet too with everything needed. We used the Bluetooth speaker and water carafe with filtered water stations in the hall every day. Last but not least - The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating! They were always there to help or have a quick and friendly conversation. I don’t think we opened the main entrance door ourselves once during our stay! We loved the lobby restaurant which has delicious breakfast food and wonderful staff as well. If you’re coming to Bentonville, I’d recommend The Compton to anyone with 100% confidence—it’s the perfect way to experience the best the area has to offer!
