Gaston’s was absolutely outstanding! The unit we stayed in with our friends was clean and cozy. Our guides on the river were knowledgeable and kind. They offered such a great fishing experience for us and our kids. The restaurant was incredible as well. I would highly recommend this location to family and friends.

Cons: Beware of Cabin 10 plumbing issues!? ?Maintenance was quick to respond but water backed up in the bathtub and commode again within 10 minutes after he left. Apparently this has been an ongoing issue with this cabin for a long time due to roots invading the lines. Why they’re still renting this cabin is insane. I didn’t drive 2 days to get there only to have to use my neighbors shower! Pro’s: Wi-Fi available, but very spotty. The grounds and staff were nice. Lots of things for kiddos to enjoy. The restaurant food was pricey but good. Gaston’s is just minutes from Mountain Home, where there are tons of stores and restaurants. I highly recommend Jaimie’s Local Flavor. Great food and great prices. IMO, Gaston’s is a great place for both family retreats, and fishermen retreats as long as you don’t book Cabin 10 ?

Been to Gaston's a dozen times and have never been disappointed. Can't wait until we arrive tomorrow for the long weekend. Happy 4th everyone!

Well gosh my 100% disabled veteran husband got to go on a wonderful trip half day fishing... And they are getting out at Gaston's and I had just gotten out of a surgery day before yesterday and I walked into the office and I asked them if I could sit by their pool while I waited... I didn't ask to swim I asked to sit by the water... And they said no... I'm going to tell you I have been told that their restaurant is terrible... And that was by multiple Guides in the area by the way... They say the food is not consistent especially the steaks... and that is why in the last 4 years that I've lived in here I have not come... They're not friendly for sure... There is no reason in God's name why I could not have set by that pool and waited for my husband to get off this wonderful trip... I will never recommend Gaston's restaurant or resort and I live here... This place is for snobs...

We were invited to a birthday luncheon on a Sunday with the brunch buffet. It was such a good set up on Gastons part since we had some less mobile people with us. The food was top notch.. especially the salad bar and dessert bar. Our waitress was outstanding keeping up with all 14 of us. Awesome place with the view, the food and the service.

Can’t say enough nice things about this fantastic resort and the wonderful people that worked there had a fantastic time. Highly recommend Doug as a guide, my buddy and our first time there both of us left with the biggest trout we’ve ever caught in our life. Had a great time definitely will be coming back thanks to everybody there

Stayed for first time in November. Room I selected was no-frills but very clean and all that I needed as well as a very good price. Limited contact with staff but all were very professional and helpful. Restaurant was delicious. Location on the river was perfect for my needs. Gaston's will be my go-to resort when fishing the White River.

Fantastic! Terrific service, beautiful decor, and outstanding view of the White River! This restaurant has been serving the community since 1958! They even called me back within 2 minutes of me leaving a message!

Rooms are old. Breakfast buffet is a total ripoff. Used to really like this place, but last trip was disappointing!

We stayed at The River Villa cabin and it was very disappointing. Our room was on the second floor, there no connection with the common area, although the price is the same for the connected rooms. The room was smelling terrible on the first day, musty and humid. The bedding looks old, the bathroom was super small, no hooks to hang any towels. The room view was pretty. The restaurant has a beautiful view. Prices are very high and food is okay. The service was great.
