We had an exceptional time at In The Trees resort! We stayed in The Miller 335 and it was a beautiful getaway in the heart of nature. The views were beautiful during the day and under the stars at night! We loved being able to take out records, books, and board games from the den - such a nice touch! The hot tub was great & very clean and well-maintained! The cabins themselves are gorgeous and have everything you could think to need on your trip - even coffee grounds w/ cream & sugar! The hiking trails are beautiful and the Writer's Close is a must for anyone looking to enjoy some silent reflection. I cannot recommend this resort enough, and we will definitely plan a trip back in the future!
We stayed in The Aged Owl over the weekend to spoil my MIL and spend a little time in our lovely town of Hot Springs. It was absolutely amazing! The views were great, my kids loved the binoculars and all the visitors we enjoyed seeing right from our deck…deer, squirrels, and 2 beautiful turkey! The breeze in the evenings were amazing and I enjoyed my coffee from the hot tub every morning. It was such a beautiful weekend playing games, slumbering, and just being together. This place absolutely provides it all too, fully stocks everything! And the beds…so comfy! Will absolutely recommend to others and will love to stay here again in the colder season.
We stayed at In The Trees to celebrate a wedding anniversary, and it was the perfect place to both relax and have fun. Riding e-bikes before heading back to our cabin deck to make s'mores and lounge in the hot tub sums it up well. The location was only about a 10-minute drive from downtown Hot Springs but felt a world away. The views inside and outside of our cabin were stunning. The communication from all of the staff was incredible. We prepared one meal ourselves, and the kitchen was well-eqipped for doing so. The rest of our meals were food boards or prepared by Chef Alex, and all of that was amazing. Both of the massage therapists we had work with/on us (Jose and Mikah) were very good, and that topped off the pampering feel of the trip. There was even a toy and a treat for our pet! We loved every minute of our stay, and we will be back. I strongly recommend In The Trees! It is great for couples and families. I could see it being a loving retreat for groups as well.
My family of 4 and our fur baby rented The Trumpeter for a family vacation after picking up my son from camp. Our schedule is typically very busy with two athletes and going to In The Trees did exactly what I needed it to... slowed time down. We hiked, played bored games, made s'mores, hung out in the hot tub and just spent quality time together. We even saw deer and turkeys daily on property. Our tree house had a full kitchen but smaller oven and medium sized refrigerator and mini dishwasher, so if you plan on cooking, keep this in mind. We cooked easy things that didn't need a lot of dishes or oven space. The tree house was very clean and offered higher-end amenities. The heated bathroom floors were a bonus! Depending on the time of year, the mountain views might be blocked by trees but it was still beautiful and fun being surrounded by nature. Everyone that we encountered at In The Trees were very kind and hospitable! My son brought his mountain bike but you can rent some there. We also ventured to town for the annual tub race! This was a lot of fun, I recommend if you're visiting in June. Going to town is only 15 minutes away, which is also nice. We plan on booking again!
This was our 3rd visit to In the Trees. We absolutely adore this location vacation spot. It is such a unique location because you are so close to all the amenities that downtown Hot Springs has to offer yet you are in your own little natural forest paradise! We've done all the tourist "must have spots" and this time we really enjoyed staying on property the majority of the time. The property itself has grown so much and It so exciting to see the new additions. My personal favorite was visiting The Den which is a shared spot that hosts vinyl records, family games, and a lending library right there on the property. In addition, we loved seeing all the woodland creatures throughout the property. When we went this last week there were a lot more cars parked in front of the other cabins and treehouses yet the property was still super quiet! I love that they've added some special touches to the cabins themselves. Extra hooks around the shower for towels, a tea kettle, and a spice rack. We love cooking easy meals for breakfast and lunch and then going out to eat for dinner. In the Trees is a beautiful property and one we will likely continue to come again and again. My husband enjoys mountain biking and has rented an e-bike the last 3 times. He even said how impressed he was with the maintenance of the e-bikes. Specifically he commented on how the chains were nice and clean and if anything needed to be tweaked the staff was quick to attend to it. I got a in room massage this time and it was amazing!!! A wonderful treat after a crazy last few months.
I really enjoyed the beautiful views and the relaxing atmosphere, especially the jacuzzi. I also appreciated the thoughtful treats and toys they provided for my dogs when we arrived — that was such a nice touch. I paid for a massage during my stay, and the experience was amazing. Huge shoutout to Mikah and Regina for doing such a great job. They were both so kind and welcoming, and they made the experience even more relaxing and enjoyable. I was so impressed that I tipped them on the spot. I also added brunch and dinner with Chef Alex, but unfortunately, that part of the experience did not meet our expectations. I had texted him over 6 months in advance and clearly explained the meals my mom and stepfather wanted for both brunch and dinner. While I appreciate that he made sure vegan options were available for my mom, neither of them received the meals they specifically requested. My stepfather actually didn’t eat at all because nothing prepared matched what he asked for. It honestly felt like a waste of money because when you pay for a private chef experience, you expect some level of customization and communication regarding the food you requested. On top of that, his energy didn’t feel welcoming — it came across like he didn’t want to be there, which is why we chose not to leave a tip.
Absolutely exceeded expectations. Not being snooty haha, but I’m very particular about where we stay and took a full month to make a decision on here researching on it , and everything checked out so I finally booked and it was SOO definitely a place I would recommend! We loved it! We didn’t want to leave. The place is nice, beds are comfortable, service amazing, hikes fun, the hot tub at night w the stars and wine was my favorite! It was truly top notch! Def book and do the bathhouse and the hikes all day and hot tub and fire pit at night!
One of the hardest places for me to leave! The cabins and tree houses are beautiful and the service is immaculate. There are so many amenities available that make this the perfect getaway trip to reset and escape reality. I loved the hot tub, fire pit, puzzles, record player, and heated bathroom floors. They even include a cute little guest book with recommendations from previous travelers and treats to feed the deer and other wildlife. This was my first solo trip and I felt so safe here! I will definitely be coming back!
In The Trees is such a magical place. It is very well appointed and thought out. From the lightening, heated bathroom floor, hot tub, fire table, and luxury linens. The staff was wonderful. Location to downtown and to hiking is right out your door. We stayed at the couple cabin #335 the Miller. We were celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary. Pet friendly a plus. We will definitely be back.
