about 2 months agoWe come to Marion quite often and decided to try the Hampton for the first time because of the good reviews. Unfortunately, I have to say we were disappointed with our stay. During our four-night stay, the fire alarms went off **twice**. What was most frustrating was the complete lack of communication from the hotel—no apology, no explanation, and no update. After the first incident, you would think the issue would have been addressed to prevent it from happening again. The rooms were okay, but the cleaning could have been better. The water pressure also fluctuated while showering, which was frustrating. On the positive side, the beds were comfortable. Overall, we expected a better experience, especially given the Hampton name and the reviews we read. I would not recommend staying.

2 months agoNice rooms with pretty good breakfast. They need to change the tubs in the rooms to walk-in showers. The tubs are plastic and feel very cheap. Front desk in the evening was not very friendly.

3 months agoPretty standard as far as hotels go. The rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast was hot and fresh with good coffee. And the staff was friendly and helpful.

4 months agoWhen we travel, we always stay at Hampton Inns. This has been the best room we have had in a long time! It is definitely a newer or newly renovated hotel but the layout of the king room with a fridge felt so much better than walking in to the side of the tv stand normally. The room was super clean(including the furniture!), breakfast was good and everyone was very kind. Sad that we only had one night here!

5 months agoGreat midway shopping point. Get your desk people to stay OFF their phones if they have customers walking through lobby. It is disrespectful. We might need their help but I would like a smile & a hello.

7 months agoGreat stay, and definitely recommend! Rooms and hotel were spotless, and staff was very nice. They had a designated pet area with a 50 dollar fee. The location was great with plenty of dining options. Breakfast was hot and tasty. Overall, cannot think of a single negative and glad that we chose this hotel!

9 months agoEverything was great, stayed for just 1 night. Room was very clean, comfortable bed, nice shower, and great service! Breakfast was great too, lots of options, although I wish things were labeled if it’s gluten free or not, but I’m assuming eggs don’t have wheat in it. Great stay!

11 months agoStayed one night here on a road trip. Customer service was great from the beginning! Room was clean, and parking lot was well lit. Melissa did an awesome job preparing the breakfast and was super nice when I accidentally spilt my drink and needed help cleaning it up. She treated my family like we were old friends and I was a guest at her own house. Super nice! Will definitely stay here again if I pass through the area.
