The Holiday Inn Express Forrest City offers a generally positive experience, highlighted by friendly service and cleanliness, particularly during breakfast. However, recent reviews have raised concerns regarding room quality, billing issues, and facilities maintenance, including potential noise transmission and pool cleanliness. Value remains a mixed impression, with some guests finding it a good option for a quick stop but others deeming it mid-range for the price.

Telephone in Room and outles the room do not work elevator it's not working on a weekend. A holiday weekend at that, staff was wonderful it was 102° outside by 12 noon There should be a water fountain with cold water or A container with fruit infused ice cold water available for guests to get at their leisure. It was not the quality that I expected from Holiday Inn express nor for the amount of money charged per night.

6/10 stars. It's okay. We had to stop in this city otherwise burn out from driving. Pros: right off the freeway and some free breakfast items, beds were clean and super comfortable. They had the beds on box spring for better support. The duvet covers looked newer than other locations we visited. Ac was working, Elevator worked. They have laundry on site and close to gas station and nearby food places... Cons: pool was cloudy, very few towels, water pooling around pool walking area where it shouldn't. Lots of single men loitering outside, and I saw a grill they must have been using to grill out there. They all looked blue collar and had work trucks so not a safety issue. My biggest issue is with the developer. I'm guessing they cut corners on insulating between rooms. When we stood in the bathroom we could hear the next room clear as day. During breakfast my husband had to ask one of the workers if they could refill certain breakfast items; also some of the food wasn't hot enough. They just didn't seem too happy about even working there. I noticed little things like hair in the corners of the bathroom and also on the elevators... That's all. Overall just an okay experience. Very mid for the price.

I stayed at your property on June 10 and was charged $141.83 at check-in at approximately 2:32 a.m. When I checked out and returned my room key, the front desk employee informed me that my stay had not been paid for. I immediately showed her my bank account, which clearly reflected that the payment had already been processed and deducted. Despite this evidence, she insisted that I make another payment. Because I was pressed for time and unable to continue disputing the issue, I reluctantly paid a second charge of $147.47. On June 16, I called to address the duplicate charge and spoke with a manager. She advised me that I would receive an email confirming the reimbursement; however, I never received any such email. Additionally, the manager was unprofessional throughout the conversation, speaking rudely and ultimately hanging up on me before the matter was resolved. After receiving no follow-up, I contacted the corporate office on June 18 regarding the duplicate charge. I was informed that the matter would be investigated and that I would receive a callback within 24 to 48 hours. However, I did not receive any communication within that timeframe. On June 22, I called the corporate office again to check on the status of my reimbursement. During that conversation, I was informed that a refund had been processed for the original $141.83 charge. This is incorrect. The $141.83 charge was the legitimate payment made at check-in. The charge that should have been refunded is the second and unnecessary charge of $147.47, which I was pressured to pay at checkout despite already having paid for my stay. The duplicate charge, the lack of follow-up, the confusion regarding the refund, and the poor customer service I received from both property staff and management have made this an extremely frustrating experience.

I stayed at this particular Holiday Inn Express on 04/23/26. I was so impressed with absolutely everything that I just had to write a review. I arrived late at night but the gentleman working the front desk was kind and courteous and fulfilled all my requests to get the exact room that I was hoping for. I came down for an early breakfast and the entire staff was so friendly and personable. Had a great conversation with the lady working the front desk and both ladies that were working the breakfast bar were above and beyond. They were on top of everything making sure all of the food was fresh and full and that everyone was happy. And there were quite a few people there for breakfast in the morning. They would talk to a lot of the customers and asked if you needed anything etc. Just as I was getting ready to leave one of the girls came out and asked if I would I like a to go bag and brought me a pre-prepared bag of goodies for the road. Inside that bag was a business card and that's where I found the review links and I am happily giving one. If you're traveling through this area and need a hotel that satisfies at every level and for a great price, the Holiday Inn Express is your hotel. I travel this route semi-frequently and I will be staying here every chance I get, no doubt! A+++ ?

Last minute decision to stop and stay here. Very clean and the front desk warned us the room we chose would be loud because it was next to the side entrance. We picked a different room. Only complaint is that the pancake maker was broken.

My parents and I were in Forrest City, AR fir a funeral. However and despite the occasion, we enjoyed our stay at this property. Particularly Ms Ronita and Miss Rhegan at the breakfast bar were exceptionally pleasant and super helpful. Not to mention the breakfast was delicious and there was a great variety to choose from. One critic: the mattress was not very comfortable, as a matter of fact, i believe the bed frame was broken.....and we were in a handicap room.

I was greeted by the kitchen staff when I walked through the doors. Those smiling faces were such a wonderful sight after a long day of driving. I felt like I was walking into a relatives home. In the morning, Miss Jeannie was there to check on how I slept and chat with me. She showed me how to operate the coffee machine and even helped me fill my oversized travel mug. I will definitely recommend this hotel to me family and friends. We will make sure we stop here on our way through. Thanks to all the staff.

Clean and comfortable. I happen to have a UV light on me as part of my pocket light. Checked the room, beds, floor etc. Very clean.! The "mexican" food place across the road was also pretty good. Unrelated to this hotel.
